Vanilla Extract

Rohan started the first bottle of homemade vanilla extract in February 2011, just in time for Valentine's Day. He made the steep of six beans in a twelve year old rum, which will someday flavour Hannah's cupcakes, vanilla cream, custard, ice cream?....mmmmmmm...

He put this new extract mixture together on the 5th of Septermber 2011 using eight vanilla beans and an eight year old rum. It too will steep for a year before use. Patience.
